A Pizza Stop at The Mansion, Jalan Mesui – Kuala Lumpur
No visit to a city is complete without trying the local pizza, and in Kuala Lumpur, my choice was The Mansion on Jalan Mesui. A quick browse through their Google photos and reviews sealed the deal, and I’m happy to say it was worth the visit.
The Pizza
The pizza was cooked in a wood-fired oven, giving it that classic, smoky flavor that every pizza lover craves. The dough was well-prepared—light, with a good texture and balance. Toppings were kept simple and not over the top, which I appreciated for the most part (although I could have done without the onions on my marinara). Overall, it was a solid pizza experience and definitely a good option for pizza enthusiasts in Kuala Lumpur.
The Drinks
Here’s a funny twist: the drink menu had more kombucha options than anything else! If you’re a kombucha fan, you’ll love the variety available. For those looking for more traditional drinks, the options were a bit more limited.
The Atmosphere
The one downside was my seating placement. As a party of two, we were seated in the hallway area, which felt a bit like an afterthought. While functional, the space lacked the ambiance of the main dining area. However, it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience.
Final Thoughts
If you’re craving pizza in Kuala Lumpur, The Mansion on Jalan Mesui is worth checking out. From the wood-fired oven to the well-executed dough and toppings, it delivers a satisfying pizza experience. Despite a minor seating issue, it’s a place I’d recommend to pizza fans exploring the city.
